Job summary

A leading global supplier of renewable energy solutions is seeking a Senior Key Account Manager to penetrate the UK market. The ideal candidate will develop strategic customers, define marketing strategies, and manage accounts. Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales or business development in the BESS and solar sectors is required. The role demands strong independent working capabilities and a willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Sales or Business Development.
  • Experience with inverter manufacturers preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and take on responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sales forecasts and competitive analyses.

Climate17 are partnered exclusively with a leading global supplier of utility scale Energy Storage Systems and Solar PV inverters.

With an already well-established international presence, our client is actively expanding into theUK market and are looking to recruit a Senior Key Account Manager to successfully penetratethe new market and establish them as a key supplier to the UK renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new strategic customers in the relevant country
  • Define Sales and Marketing strategies for the respective country
  • Create and optimisethe Sales process
  • Account management of existing customers and close cooperation with various departments for the best solution
  • Visiting customers and attending business events such as conferences and trade shows
  • Preparing regular sales forecasts, reports, and competitive analysis of solutions

Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in (Technical) Sales, Business Development, Project Development in BESS and PV industry
  • Experience working for an inverter manufacturer
  • Very good knowledge of BESS, solar projects and inverters
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to take on responsibility
