Key Account Manager – Automotive Aftermarket Distribution

Strengthening our UK sales team:

Delivering and developing class Garage Workshop Consumables programmes to vertical markets expanding across the Automotive Aftermarket, Engineering Supplies, and Industrial Distributor space is where our client excels. Their extensive experience enables MRO Workshops to efficiently and productively manage their workshop consumable usage. We are seeking a Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, or Senior Sales Development Executive to develop the Automotive Aftermarket distribution sector via Independent Motor Factors and Trade Buying Groups / ITGs.

Ideal Location – UK Wide / Central UK preferred

Our ideal candidate:

  • Has experience within the Automotive Aftermarket in a Senior Sales / Key Account or National Account role, familiar with parts distribution and supply chains into the Automotive Aftermarket.
  • Possesses knowledge and experience in trading with key stakeholders within Automotive ITGs and Aftermarket Buying Groups.
  • Has a proven track record of delivering sales in a Senior Account Management capacity.
  • Displays gravitas, able to present innovative ideas at board level.
  • High IT literacy, especially with presentation tools and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Maintains professionalism, integrity, and develops strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with a strong work ethic and persistence.
  • Willing to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
  • Smart appearance, punctual, and capable of making excellent first impressions.
