The Key Account Manager (Sales Specialist) is responsible for selling IDeaS Revenue Management Solutions and Services to assigned existing accounts through a direct sales approach. This role collaborates with the Sr Account Executive and AVP to drive growth and achieve strategic account and company goals. Fluency in French at least at a business level is required.

What you’ll be doing...

  1. Build and drive sales for all IDeaS revenue management solutions: software, services, and consulting offerings in the assigned account(s).
  2. Identify, qualify, and pursue growth opportunities within existing accounts by managing requirements and executing strategic sales campaigns.
  3. Create and present sales proposals and solutions to demonstrate the value of the company's products and services, leveraging resources as appropriate.
  4. Meet and exceed sales targets.
  5. Develop and implement growth strategies for assigned accounts with guidance from senior team members, addressing key marketplace needs.
  6. Collaborate with the Sr Account Executive to sell solutions to existing clients aligned with global strategies.
  7. Support lead generation activities and qualify leads based on business and technical fit.
  8. Use domain expertise to respond to customer requests and support account penetration.
  9. Qualify opportunities through established processes.
  10. Prepare client proposals and contracts using Salesforce.com.
  11. Track and monitor activities, contacts, and opportunities in Salesforce.com.
  12. Provide regular forecasts and updates on account activities.
  13. Support lead generation and industry events as needed.

What you’ll bring to us…

  1. 5+ years of experience in direct sales within hospitality or software industries.
  2. Proven success in exceeding sales targets and value propositions.
  3. Fluent in French (reading and writing).
  4. Experience selling software or technology solutions, with knowledge of hotel industry technology.
  5. Excellent consultative and listening skills across diverse cultures and corporate levels, including C-Level.
  6. Ability to communicate complex topics clearly in writing and verbally.
  7. Strong business acumen to translate problems into solutions.
  8. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
