Base pay range

In this dynamic new role at Culligan UK, you will own the P&L and growth strategy for one of our vital industry verticals, which may include Healthcare, Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or Education. Stepping into the shoes of the "GM of the vertical," you will guide a passionate team, foster strong C-suite relationships with the vertical's largest customers, forge new strategic alliances, and drive revenue growth across Culligan's innovative hydration, filtration, and water-treatment solutions.

Key Areas of focus for this role:

  1. Vertical Growth Strategy - Create and foster an account-based strategy that propels growth and enhances margin expansion
  2. Relationship Stewardship - Foster strong, multi-tier relationships with crucial accounts within your vertical
  3. New-Logo Acquisition - Collaborate with our inside sales team to identify and engage with ideal customer profile (ICP) prospects, successfully closing high-value opportunities
  4. Pod Leadership & Coaching - Engage with your team members consistently, providing them with meaningful support and encouraging their growth and development
  5. Forecasting & Governance - Oversee a dynamic 90-day rolling forecast, showcasing the vertical P&L to leadership team members
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with the marketing team on vertical campaigns while maintaining a strong connection to the finance team
  7. Voice of Customer & Innovation - Spot emerging trends in various sectors and work closely with the product team to drive innovation
  8. Risk Management - Spot potential revenue risks, implement effective remediation strategies, and champion Culligan's Safety First culture

Requirements:

  • Proven record (7+ years) growing £8-10 m+ portfolios in water treatment, industrial services, or adjacent sectors
  • Demonstrated leadership of virtual or matrix pods, including sales & Customer Experience functions
  • Consultative/solution-selling mastery (MEDDPICC, Challenger or similar)
  • Data-driven operator, experience using Salesforce, Power BI and account-planning tools
  • Commercial acumen: pricing, contracts, financial modelling and P&L literacy
  • Executive-level communication, negotiation and influencing
  • UK driving licence, up to 30% of your time will be spent on the road. You will be required to attend monthly meetings at our head office in Wolverhampton

Desirable:

  • Sector expertise in target vertical (e.g., HTM 04-01 compliance for healthcare, BRCGS for F&B)
  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business or related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ISMM Level 5, Key Account Management Association CKAM)
