Napp is seeking a Key Account Manager for Infectious Diseases to drive uptake of promoted brands across a UK field-based territory. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering Napp's commercial objectives by driving the uptake of promoted brands across a designated geographical territory. Through strategic account management, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, you will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across primary and specialist care within the NHS. You will be responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and growth targets by developing and implementing high-quality account plans that align Napp's value propositions with the clinical, operational, and financial priorities of target accounts. Leveraging data, market insights, and omni-channel engagement strategies, you will identify opportunities to enhance patient care while maximizing business performance. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across the assigned territory, including engagement with NHS customers, healthcare professionals, and key decision-makers.
Degree-level education preferred in Life Sciences, Business, Healthcare, or a related discipline.
ABPI Qualification required.
Proven experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong track record in specialist pharmaceutical sales.
Experience working within Secondary Care and NHS environments.
Demonstrated success in Key Account Management within healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors.
Experience developing strategic customer relationships and delivering commercial objectives.
Strong pharmaceutical sales, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Proven experience in key account planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
Excellent understanding of the NHS, hospital sector, and healthcare decision-making processes.
Knowledge of Infectious Diseases therapy area and associated stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long‑term customer relationships.
Ability to lead, manage, and implement change effectively.
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
Innovative mindset with the ability to develop creative solutions through cross‑functional collaboration.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and customer insights.
