We have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager, based around London or the outskirts , to join our Network Rail Office at Stannah.

As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring that contractual obligations are met and growth potential realised. This role is pivotal to ensuring sustainable relationships are formed and maintained with our customers.

Our ideal candidate key Account Manager would have previous experience working in the lift and escalator industry and relevant technical expertise ideally with an engineering, technical sales or managerial background in lift and escalator installations. You will have technical appreciation of GSM Auto diallers and Remote Monitoring systems.

You will be an individual who is focused on delivering excellent customer service as per the Stannah values with a strong understanding of how to drive growth.

The successful candidate will be home based with the requirement to travel to Stannah premises and visit customers premises and sites across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic business development and constantly look for opportunities to increase levels of Customer Service as well as return on the contract.
  • Proactively grow and manage the strategy for National Account Sales
  • Build and develop close working relationships with the customers and branch teams
  • Arranges periodic tactical and strategic reviews with customers and the branch network.
  • Respond to situations proactively and provide solutions to customer’s requirements
  • Develop , deliver customer and business reporting requirements
  • Motivate, engage and help coach the national account administration team.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in the lift and / or escalator industry with a technical understanding of products
  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift / Escalator Engineering or equivalent technical competency desirable.
