Job summary

DPD UK is recruiting a Regional Customer Relationship Manager to join their high-performing team in Reading. The role focuses on account planning, customer relationships, and revenue opportunities within the portfolio.

You will work Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, with potential regional travel and a company car or cash allowance. Prospective candidates should have account management experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Experience with account management and building customer relationships.
• Able to engage with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop account plans for each customer to support revenue targets.
• Maintain/update information via Salesforce and customer files.
• Build multi-functional and multi-level relationships with customer organisations.
• Identify and develop revenue opportunities within the portfolio and maintain a pipeline.
• Visit and carry out exit surveys on lost DPD and DPD Local customers and maintain monthly contact.
• Liaise with Regional CRMs for action plans on major new business opportunities.
• Identify and manage resolutions of customer problems to underpin retention.
• Visit existing customers to maintain revenue levels and renewal chances.
• Work with internal departments to ensure service delivery and improvements.

Job Description

Our Regional Customer Relationship Manageris looking to recruit a first class Key Account Manager to join their highly skilled and high performing team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing account plans for each customer to support the Key Account Manager portfolio revenue/contribution targets
• Maintaining/updating information via SalesForce and customer files
• Developing multi-functional and multi-level business relationships with customers organisations
• Identifying and developing any additional revenue opportunities within the portfolio and their associated companies. Maintain an up to date revenue opportunity pipeline
• Visiting and carrying out exit surveys on all lost DPD and DPD Local customers and maintain regular monthly contact
• Liaise with Regional Customer Relationship Managers for action plan on all major new business opportunities
• Identifying and managing the resolution of customer problems to underpin long term account retention
• Visiting existing customers to maintain planned levels of revenue/ contribution improvement through timely rate renewals
• Working with internal departments and contacts to ensure operational service is delivered and improvement opportunities identified and supported

You will have a natural ability to engage with customers both face to face and over the phone delivering outstanding customer service to ensure our customers expectations are met.

You will possess excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to adapt and respond to change quickly.
