Job Description:

The Key Account role provides strategic and tactical account and relationship management to our EMEA-based clients. They will act as the coordinator with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the client understands the ISS MI value narrative while working closely across product groups to define strategic goals, identify revenue growth opportunities and/or develop account retention strategies with the goal of strengthening and enhancing long-term client relationships. They are responsible for client engagement via onsite visits, webinars, email or phone. They will develop efficient processes and serve as a resource for the company on best practices for growing and maintaining client relationships.

Main responsibilities:

Achieve allocated cross-sell and upsell revenue targets

Manage all pipeline and activity recording via Salesforce

Cultivate and manage relationships with EMEA-based clients while continuously promoting usage of ISS MI products to facilitate and ensure client retention.

Deepen and grow client relationships to identify and deliver cross-product solutions

Work directly with client service and product teams to ensure proper service levels and engagement are maintained while overseeing special projects or customized deliverables.

Manage relationships with existing firms contributing crossborder data to ISS MI

Cultivate relationships with international firms that could add value to the ISS MI consortium

Support new client onboarding and existing clients via onsite visits, webinars, email or phone

Liaise with client support teams to identifying and monitor potential client dissatisfaction

Continuously promote usage of ISS MI products and ensure presence in the marketplace

Interact with senior management to better understand the industry and individual clients

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years experience in sales and account management in finance, data software/platforms or responsible investment.

Knowledge of mutual funds (International and UCITs experience preferred)

Strong client service and engagement skills, ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels within the client organization

Strong analytical, verbal, written communication and presentation skills required

Proficiency in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint

Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment
