What you’ll do: As part of Ant Group, our mission is ‘to make it easy to do business anywhere’. Our London-based Business Development team is responsible for expanding in the UK and EMEA region. We seek experienced BD professionals to join us.

  • Use your network and assigned merchant portfolio to generate referrals and new business opportunities.
  • Attend industry events to stay updated on trends and build new connections.
  • Maintain a set number of accounts, build relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Promote uptake of WorldFirst’s products within your portfolio.
  • Present solutions and educate merchants about our products and processes.
  • Collaborate with related teams to resolve merchant issues.
  • Share insights and feedback to ensure the customer’s voice is heard.
  • Maintain regular contact with merchants to nurture business relationships.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience selling to e-commerce brands within marketplace ecosystems.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and sell to Business Owners and C-Suite executives.
  • Solution-oriented approach to building customer relationships.
  • Effective communication skills via phone, email, and face-to-face.
  • Attention to detail, process-driven, with effective outreach strategies.
  • Ability to handle objections and customer dissatisfaction.
  • Strong time and task management and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative mindset to support client needs.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
