A major manufacturer in food processing is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage significant UK accounts worth over £5 million. This role involves growing existing accounts and targeting new key clients in the food processing sector. Candidates should have a proven track record in selling technical solutions and relevant engineering qualifications. The position offers a competitive salary up to £75,000 and the flexibility of home-based work, covering all of the UK.
This is a Key Account Manager role with a major European and British manufacturer of process and packaging machinery based high value technical equipment and line solutions sold into the food processing and manufacturing markets with a great package and great prospects too.
BASIC SALARY: up to £75,000
BENEFITS:
· circa £40,000 OTE

LOCATION: Covering the whole of the UK, you will be home based so can live anywhere in England

A classic Key Account Manager role managing our two biggest UK accounts that are major food processing and manufacturing companies worth circa £5 million plus turnover per annum with a brief to grow our business within these accounts and to target selected new key accounts.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Key Account Manager, Account Manager, National Account Manager - Manufacturer, Food Processing
· You MUST have a proven track record of selling high value technical solutions based around food process and packaging machinery sold into the food processing or manufacturing market.
· Ideally you will have specific experience of selling to the meat, fish and poultry markets.
· You WILL have a technical background and ideally relevant engineering qualifications.
THE COMPANY:
We are a major European and British manufacturer of process and packaging machinery based high value technical equipment and line solutions. We have a 3 to 5 year growth plan and a new management team to deliver that plan, which will include new UK premises in the near future. We offer full design and project management services and have partnership deals with several other major PPMA companies to deliver complete lines in the UK, Europe and Worldwide.
PROSPECTS:
Success in this role could lead to a sales management role in the next 2 to 3 years.
