As a Key Account Manager, you’ll take charge of identifying, implementing, and managing new business opportunities across our diverse product and solutions portfolio. You’ll work with a dedicated list of high-potential regional key accounts, all while driving new business wins in line with Jungheinrich’s ambitious growth strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Hitting Your Targets: Achieve pre-set goals across all business streams from market awareness to order intake and profitability.
- Hunting for New Business: Use a new business tracker to pursue high-potential accounts and secure incremental business.
- Strategic Market Analysis: Research new customers, industry segments, and solutions to maximise business development.
- Building Strong Relationships: Ensure Jungheinrich is the top choice for prospective tenders through meaningful engagement and trust.
- Crafting Winning Proposals: Conduct site surveys, establish equipment specs, and deliver high-impact proposals to senior decision-makers.
- Driving Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with service managers, customer support, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional customer service and business outcomes.
Your Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, and account management with large corporate clients.
- Strong commercial awareness with a sharp eye for identifying growth opportunities.
- Expertise in Material Handling Equipment and ideally Storage, Warehousing and Automation products.
- Confident in presenting to senior stakeholders and closing high-value deals.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Flexibility to travel across the UK (and occasionally overseas). A full UK driving licence required.
