IQVIA is currently recruiting a Key Account Manager to work in London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex in the field of cardiology, promoting products for one of the world's largest multinational pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.

This vacancy offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager to shape and direct the cardiology landscape during a product's launch phase.

Your role as a Key Account Manager:

  1. Drive sales across the local health economy by engaging with all levels of key influencers and gaining positive formulary positioning and guidance for your products.
  2. Be fully accountable for and take ownership of your sales across your territory.
  3. Provide a high-quality commercial approach to maximise investments through successful negotiation and resource management.
  4. Develop, agree upon, and implement bespoke initiatives that enable access to the products by NHS and private providers.
  5. Maintain a high level of knowledge of the therapy areas and NHS policies (local and national) by proactively reviewing current positions and providing solutions to ensure product use.
  6. Liaise professionally with internal and external customers at all times.

We are looking for a Key Account Manager with:

  1. A proven track record of success as a senior sales representative using a key account management approach within the pharmaceutical sales environment.
  2. A degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
  3. ABPI certification.
  4. High-level selling, business acumen, and negotiating skills.
  5. The ability to develop positive relationships with customers at all levels.
  6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
