The Role

BMS are recruiting for a new Key Account Manager for a market leading organisation in the lift & escalator industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering their service and maintenance contracts nationally for a single, major, multi-site, client in the UK. This role will see you dealing with internal & external stakeholders on a daily basis, ensuring your key account is managed well and that the contract is upheld. In addition, you will be looking for further opportunities to drive revenue outside of the stated contract, bringing in other teams within the business to upsell & cross sell where possible.

Operating nationally, you will split your time between your key account’s key stakeholders and your own colleagues across Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing in order to execute the best possible experience for your Key Account and champion them internally. You will have full autonomy over your diary and the way you manage the account with a mix of in-person and remote contact. You have access to all regional offices across the UK for the business which will help you to quickly build internal relationships which will ensure success in the role.

This role is perfect for an account manager who is customer-centric, able to develop internal & external relationships in order to achieve shared goals, and who can aide operational development.

Candidate Criteria
  • Must have Key Account Management experience on an operational level
  • A background in internal & external stakeholder management, strong relationship builder
  • Able to upsell & cross sell outside of the existing contract
  • Credible, professional, and customer-centric in approach
  • A track record of results visibly clear on CV
  • Able to travel nationally to different company and client sites
  • Driving License
Package & Location

Package: £50,000 basic DOE plus £3-4k bonus year 1, 25 days holiday, contributory pension scheme, company car scheme or car allowance
