Key Account Manager – SIPP Administration

FNZ are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our growing operations team. This role is central to delivering first-class service to our key corporate clients, advisers and pension members, with a focus on SIPP administration and oversight across the full investment lifecycle.

You’ll act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients and advisers, ensuring every instruction is handled efficiently, accurately and in line with our compliance and service standards. Working collaboratively with other operational areas, you’ll make sure our service delivery consistently reflects FNZ’s commitment to precision, integrity and client excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Client Service & Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients and advisers, ensuring an exceptional level of service at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key accounts, proactively managing queries and updates.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and intermediaries to resolve issues and ensure smooth day-to-day administration.
  • Represent FNZ in all client interactions, ensuring professionalism and compliance.

Operations & Administration

  • Oversee and authorise key SIPP transactions and pension scheme payments.
  • Manage end-to-end SIPP administration processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with internal operational teams to ensure efficient handling of transfers, contributions, disinvestments, and benefit payments.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), escalating and resolving risks where required.
  • Identify process improvements and support the delivery of continuous improvement initiatives within your functional area.

Governance & Risk

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, CASS regulations, and all FNZ compliance standards.
  • Proactively identify risks, errors or potential breaches and escalate appropriately.
  • Support audits, client reviews and governance meetings, ensuring accurate reporting and oversight.

People & Culture

  • Act as a key contributor within the operational team, supporting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Encourage openness, debate and accountability across the team.
  • Maintain all mandatory training requirements and support personal and professional development initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required

  • · Knowledge of SIPP administration and pension operations is desirable, but not essential
  • Previous experience in a client relationship, complaints or account management role within financial services.
  • Excellent understanding of investment and pension processes, ideally with experience in platform or wealth management operations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, advisers and internal stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
  • Sound understanding of financial services regulation, particularly CASS, COBS, COLL and SYSC.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working across multiple systems.
