Job description

We are looking for an Account Manager to join a fast-growing events agency that works B2B and provides a wide range for their clients from events and conferences to virtual events to incentive travel (they do this a lot, so get your passport ready!).

You will be given an account and will be responsible for always delivering and exceeding expectations for that client. You will manage their experiences, whether that is a conference in the UK or a company trip away to Dubai. Every event they run is unique, and their clients constantly come back, so it is your job to ensure they continue to do so.

Due to your responsibilities, you will need excellent venue and destination knowledge, strong relationships with suppliers, great negotiation skills, the ability to manage multiple events at one time, and a history of growing client relationships and accounts.

In an ideal world, you will already have several years of experience in a similar position with an agency. Familiarity with the platform Cvent would also be advantageous.

There are great opportunities to progress within the company as they continue to grow. The salary package is between £40,000 and £55,000, with additional benefits including international travel, further development training, team trips, and more!

This fantastic company is based near Brighton but has a sensible approach to hybrid working. You will be in the office around 50% of the time; the core day is Monday, and the rest varies, but you will need to have some flexibility.

If you are interested or want to know more, call me, send me a message, DM, or e-mail – whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply, as we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there is no gender bias in our advert.

Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will have the opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
