A leading provider of fluid transfer solutions is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and grow key client relationships across the UK. This home-based role involves significant responsibility in business development and account management within the hydraulics sector, with a clear path to a director position in 2 years. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales within the fluid transfer industry and a technical qualification would be advantageous.

Qualifications

Overview

Key Account Manager / Area Sales Manager / Technical Sales Manager required to join a leading provider of Fluid Transfer Solutions. The successful candidate will work remotely UK-wide, responsible for key account management and new business development of fluid transfer products such as hydraulics, couplings, fittings and more via distribution channels and OEM customers.

Responsibilities
  • Key account management and new business development of fluid transfer products through distribution channels and OEMs.
  • Work alongside the current Sales Director with a view to take over the company\'s largest key accounts and director duties within the next 2 years.
  • Identify and target new clients that can benefit from the fluid transfer / hydraulic product range.
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as drive business development selling Hydraulic Hoses and associated products/equipment.
  • Demonstrate, exhibit, and negotiate to achieve targets in line with sales plans.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Home-based role with willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK.

Requirements
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar.
  • A minimum of 2 years of successful external sales experience within the fluid transfer / hydraulic sector.
  • Experience selling fluid transfer / hydraulic engineering equipment — Hydraulics, Hydraulic Hoses, couplings, valves or similar products/services within the Fluid Power industry.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable Manufacturer, with a view to taking on the sales direct role within the next 2 years.
  • A technical qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous.
  • Full clean driving license.
