Key Account Executive – NHS & Private Sector

Salary: £35,000 + £5,000 car allowance + Bonus + Benefits

We are seeking a driven Key Account Executive to join a growing Commercial team. This is a pivotal role managing and expanding relationships with NHS hospitals and private sector customers, while driving new business opportunities across your territory. Operating in a fast-paced, competitive market, you’ll combine field-based engagement, office collaboration, and remote working. You’ll be accountable for delivering against sales targets, strengthening the organisation’s reputation for reliability, and supporting continued growth in the UK hospital market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow sales within an allocated NHS hospital and private sector customer base.
  • Identify, approach, and secure new accounts in your territory.
  • Promote a regularly changing range of unlicensed medicines, ensuring up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Build trust-based relationships with Pharmacy Procurement teams, Technicians, and other key NHS stakeholders.
  • Deliver tailored product presentations (PowerPoint and other tools).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and other teams to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and Excel records, including customer interactions, pipeline activity, forecasts, and performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions.
  • Monitor competitor activity and share insights with the Director of Business Development.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and KPIs.
