We're currently looking for a Key Account Executive to join our high-performing FSSI (Food Stuffs South Island) team in Christchurch. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially savvy, analytical go-getter ready to make their mark.
What you'll be doing
In this varied and hands-on role, you'll provide crucial support to our Key Account Manager—helping to drive success through data analysis, sales administration, relationship management, and strategic insights. You'll be the glue that keeps account operations running smoothly while contributing to customer growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the Key Account Manager in meeting customer needs and aligning with Tegel's strategic goals
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Acting as a day-to-day contact for key accounts and ensuring seamless communication
Assisting with promotions, pricing, forecasting, budgeting, and market analysis
Analysing performance data to drive category insights and commercial decisions
Enhancing promotional effectiveness and execution across the FSSI customer base
What you'll bring to the table
We're looking for someone with a commercial mindset, an analytical edge, and a passion for creating value through customer excellence.
To be successful, you'll need:
A tertiary qualification in business or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in a Key Account support role or similar
Exceptional numerical and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build credible, long-term relationships
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a knack for picking up new tools
Confidence in presenting insights and recommendations to internal and external audiences
