Key Account Director Funds - Ebury Institutional

Ebury is a hyper-growth FinTech firm. We offer a range of products including FX risk management, trade finance, transactional accounts, international payments, and API integration.

As a Key Account Director Funds - Ebury Institutional, you will be accountable for growing and managing Ebury’s Institutional client base in the UK. You will be responsible for promoting the growth of the Ebury’s Institutional brand through direct sales, visiting events, and networking in the field of Private Equity and Alternative Investment Funds. You will also partner with Corporate Service Providers and fund administrators servicing this space.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new institutional clients and expand the existing client base.
  2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients and the fund ecosystem (investment managers, corporate service providers, and fund administrators), understanding their investment objectives, risk appetite, and FX requirements.
  3. Research, identify, and prospect different institutional clients that have the need for cross-border payments, FX, and FX hedging.
  4. Establish rapport and build credibility with clients through networking opportunities and effectively present solutions that encompass the client’s entire international payment needs and Forex solutions.
  5. Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting institutional FX markets.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams such as FX dealing and operations to ensure seamless execution and delivery of services to clients.
  7. Leverage the global footprint of Ebury to service our clients in a truly global way.

You

  1. Have a proven track record of sales management within FX or other cross-border financial services selling to institutional clients in the UK.
  2. Proven analytical, problem-solving, numerical, and verbal reasoning skills.
  3. Are a skilled negotiator, able to build and leverage relationships at senior levels.
  4. Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients and a good understanding of the fund space in the UK.
  5. Strong understanding of institutional FX markets, trading strategies, and risk management techniques.
  6. Based in London.
