Job Description

We are seeking a Key Account Director to manage and grow a portfolio of 5+ regional key accounts within the FMCG sector across EMEA. The role involves setting sales strategies, driving commercial growth, and collaborating with a Client Success team to ensure client satisfaction and business expansion. Reporting to the Vice President of Key Accounts, you will coordinate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities
  1. Achieve sales growth targets, emphasizing our consulting services.
  2. Position Mintel as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to clients.
  3. Network extensively within client organizations to identify consulting opportunities.
  4. Develop and execute strategic account plans to foster growth and identify new opportunities.
  5. Collaborate with Customer Success and other teams to align client needs with business goals.
  6. Coordinate actions with local Account Directors in line with regional objectives.
  7. Ensure relevant client collateral is accessible to regional teams.
  8. Conduct regular strategic reviews with stakeholders to monitor progress.
  9. Support global account managers in best practices and regional sales growth.
  10. Engage with internal stakeholders on VOC initiatives.
Experience and Skills
  1. Senior Account Management experience, with at least five years in managing, renewing, and upgrading accounts.
  2. Fluency in French.
  3. Proven success in consultative selling and high-value project pitches.
  4. Passion and knowledge of FMCG sector.
  5. Strong communication and networking skills within organizations.
  6. Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.
  7. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  8. Entrepreneurial mindset capable of leading and developing pipelines.
