Your opportunity

You will work collaboratively within the Finance Shared Services department to support the preparation of month-end reporting, compliance activities, and daily UK finance operations.

How you will contribute

• Support the Financial Controller in preparing month-end reports, including posting month-end journals, prepayments, and fixed assets postings.
• Manage the full month-end reporting process for one brand, including HFM load files, result analysis, and responding to divisional queries.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review intercompany postings.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
• Maintain the capital allowances ledger.
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts.
• Respond to queries from stores or operational teams.
• Support internal and external audit queries.

Who you are

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified or in the latter part of your studies.
• At least 3 years of experience in industry accounting.
• Experience in retail or luxury retail finance functions is a plus.
• Proficient in SAP, Excel, and HFM reporting.
• A problem solver with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• An effective, positive team player with excellent communication skills and an agile, collaborative, and inclusive approach.
