Job summary

Qualifications

• Time served mechanical technician/fitter required.
• Ability to read manuals and schematics.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Certifications may include NVQ, BTEC, ONC, HNC, HVAC, IPAF, COMAH.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on tanks, pipework, pumps, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns, fault finding and repair, provide feedback.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Install and commission new equipment, including wiring for motors and control systems.
