Job summary

Hunter Bond is seeking a KDB+/q Developer for a leading global hedge fund. You will build next-generation research, analytics, and trading platforms, handling large-scale market data with high-performance systems and collaborating with Quants, Portfolio Managers, and Traders.

You’ll design, optimise, and deliver production-ready solutions that directly impact the firm’s investment process, taking ownership in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another STEM discipline.
• Experience with real-time market data, time-series databases, or trading systems.
• Understanding of scalable, high-performance architectures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimise KDB+/q applications for real-time market data.
• Build scalable infrastructure for research, analytics, and trading workflows.
• Partner with Quants and Traders to deliver production-ready solutions.
