Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a skilled KDB Developer to join our team, delivering data-driven solutions for leading financial institutions. You will work with global clients, act as an SME for KDB+ installations, and influence architecture while developing and deploying code.

Applicants should have 3+ years in a software role with KDB+/Q and strong programming experience in Java/C++/Python, plus familiarity with Jenkins or TeamCity for deployment.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside global clients as part of the KDB+ consulting practice.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert for product installations and customization.
• Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, including design, testing and deployment.
• Interact with users to understand requirements, deployments, and configurations; provide training.
• Support users in accessing and querying data.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside our global clients as part of our KDB+ consulting practice
• Operate as a Subject Matter Expert for product installations and customization
• Contribute to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including influencing the overall design and architecture of the application and developing, testing, and deploying the code
• Interact with users to understand requirements and integration needs, deploy applications, assist with user configurations, troubleshoot issues, and perform training
• Support users in accessing and querying data

Requirements

• 3+ years in a software engineering or development role with KDB+/Q
• Strong academic background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science, or technology
• Demonstrable track record of developing successful software solutions in programming languages such as Java/C++/Python
• Competency in using deployment tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity
• Strong initiative, with a proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning new tools and technologies
