Job summary

Barclays seeks a Kafka Platform Engineer to design, implement and maintain enterprise-scale Confluent Kafka platforms across multi-region deployments in Knutsford or Northampton. You will build secure, resilient streaming solutions, automate infrastructure with IaC, and collaborate with security, architecture and ops teams to improve reliability and data movement.

Qualifications

Expertise designing, implementing and operating enterprise Kafka platforms.
Experience building secure, resilient streaming solutions across regions and cloud environments.

Developing and enhancing Kafka security capabilities (RBAC, ACLs, OAuth, SSL/TLS).

Responsibilities
