K3469 – Head of Sales – UK, Greater London / Surrey (Hybrid) – Asset Finance

New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading European financial services group to recruit a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales for its UK operations.

This pivotal leadership role carries full responsibility for UK sales performance, delivering new business volume and income targets in line with company strategy and budget. You will lead, coach and develop the national sales team, ensuring effective operations, strong governance, and a customer-focused culture.

As a member of the UK Executive Committee (EXCO), you will play a central role in shaping and delivering the company’s long-term vision, strategy and commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and deliver sales strategy across all sectors in collaboration with Sector Heads of Sales

  • Lead and coach high-performing sales teams, ensuring skills and behaviours align with business goals

  • Develop and communicate clear value propositions and consistent sales approaches across sectors

  • Set, monitor and achieve sales targets (volume, margin, income)

  • Foster strong relationships with brokers, vendors, and partners

  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and Treating Customers Fairly principles

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Risk, Legal and Compliance functions

  • Drive commercial effectiveness through sound contract negotiation, risk management and pricing strategy

  • Represent Sales at EXCO, contributing to broader business planning and performance

Candidate Profile:
  • Proven leadership in B2B sales, ideally within Asset Finance or Leasing

  • Strategic thinker with operational strength and commercial acumen

  • Deep understanding of financial products (lease, HP, loans – regulated and unregulated)

  • Skilled in managing risk, structuring deals, and stakeholder engagement

  • Exceptional team leadership, communication and relationship-building skills

  • Experience with vendor, broker and introducer models

  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks within financial services

Location: Greater London / Surrey (Hybrid)
