What you’ll do

This is a hands-on learning role. You’ll be involved in all aspects of the kitchen while being supported to build your confidence and capability over time.

  • Support food prep and service: Assist in preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals each day
  • Learn kitchen operations: Gain experience in food hygiene, prep, organisation, and stock rotation
  • Be part of a team: Work closely with a friendly, experienced team who’ll support your growth
  • Contribute ideas and feedback: Help improve how we work and suggest ways to make meals even better
  • Grow your career: With regular feedback, mentoring, and structure, you’ll build the skills to progress confidently
What we’re looking for

This is a junior position, so we don’t expect perfection. But ideally, you’ll have:

  • Some formal training or education in catering, cheffing, or hospitality
  • Experience working as part of a team (not necessarily in a kitchen)
  • A willingness to take on feedback and try new approaches
  • A strong sense of organisation and timekeeping
Even better if you have…
  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen, even as a kitchen porter or assistant
  • Exposure to different kitchen stations or dietary requirements
  • An interest in nutrition or inclusive food planning
