Job summary

Nicholsons in Oxfordshire is looking for an Assistant Woodland Manager to join our Woodland Management division. You will join a friendly team and support a diverse client base. This role offers learning opportunities, exposure to contracting, budgeting, and grant applications, with a Monday–Friday, 40-hour week.

A commitment to environmental stewardship and ongoing professional development is encouraged. This is a full-time role based in Oxfordshire.

Responsibilities

• Quote and execute contract works as directed by Woodland Managers.
• Help manage some of the finest lowland forestry estates.
• Assist in new business development.
• Assess, price, plan and execute forestry operations and management services under guidance.
• Help prepare woodland management plans, budgets and grant applications.
