Who you are
You are a pragmatic troubleshooter who likes the challenge of diagnosing issues and then actioning fixes. You need to be composed under pressure and be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues alike. A background in web design, programming, or IT would be desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will be willing and hungry to learn, and their genuine passion will drive them forward.
What you’ll do
You will assist with incoming support tickets. These range from basic website changes to resolving critical errors on client sites. You will be working on multiple websites daily, from brochure websites to fully API integrated E-commerce stores. You will also assist our internal marketing teams with website changes, including website speed improvements and building landing pages.
This role will require some essential administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Your day to day
- Provide excellent customer support by responding to and managing incidents and requests through to resolution via telephone, email and our in-house ticketing system.
- Carry out Plugin updates for our marketing and support clients.
- Execute site health checks for marketing and support clients.
- Continuously maintain a list of client hosting.
- Maintain audits of plugins and subscriptions and follow internal processes to ensure these are billed correctly.
- Assist the Web Support Technician in completing monthly reports for our support clients.
- Pick up internal IT or website issues and escalate where required.
- Action minor content or design changes for clients.
- Keep track of hours spent on clients within our internal time-tracking system.
- Assist in creating guides to be used internally and externally.
- Help manage SSL certificates for our clients.
Knowledge and Experience
- Solid level of IT skills.
- Experience working on websites (ideally WordPress).
- Some programming knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS).
- Experience working in a fast, dynamic environment.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication and literacy skills.
- Must be able to work well independently and as part of a team.
