Job summary

Fortnum & Mason invites a passionate Junior Website Designer to join our premium retail brand in London. You will support the delivery of the digital interface, collaborate with the Senior Website Designer, and help create brand assets for use across the site and CMS.

You'll gain experience across production management for a large e‑commerce site and work with Marketing, Hospitality and Technology teams to maintain brand quality and drive conversions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in digital design.
• Strong graphic design skills with layout, typography and colour.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Figma knowledge preferred; CSS/HTML basics desirable.
• A strong web design portfolio including e‑commerce work.
• Excellent UI/UX attention and organisational skills.
• Experience managing content via a CMS, Magento is a plus.
• Curious, proactive attitude with a drive to learn.

Responsibilities

• Design website and campaign assets for homepage, category pages and editorial content.
• Create brand assets and ensure consistent look across channels.
• Update content in the CMS and manage Magento assets with external partners.
• Collaborate with marketing, UX and tech teams to improve conversions.
• Support testing and QA of updates and new features.
• Contribute to design system and asset production processes.
• Assist in production management for a large e‑commerce site.
• Maintain brand guidelines and ensure accessibility standards.
