Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Junior Warehouse Operative to join a busy Bridgend facility. The role is full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday, fully on-site, with 30 days’ holiday (38 with length of service) and a 5% employer pension contribution.

You will crate, pack and ship equipment, update stock records, and support the wider warehouse team while learning new skills through full training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including Windows, spreadsheets and data entry.
• Good numerical and measurement skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn how to use woodworking and power tools safely.
• Ability to safely handle and move timber, packaging materials and equipment.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Desirable forklift qualification or experience (training can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Crating and packaging: cut timber, construct crates, pack and secure items for shipment, perform quality checks, operate forklift as trained.
• Warehouse and computer duties: update stock and shipping details, produce packing lists and labels, review drawings and specs, maintain inventory records, respond to emails, support day‑to‑day operations.
