Junior Warehouse Coordinator

Our client, a leading independent Oil & Gas operator, is currently seeking a Junior Warehouse Coordinator to join their team based in Great Yarmouth. This is a full-time position, working on a 12-month contract. Working hours are Monday to Friday with travel to cover various warehouses.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Computer literate with well-developed IT skills across Microsoft suite, specifically Word.
• Solutions-based with strong planning, organizing, and numeric skills, and an excellent attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Forklift capabilities desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• You will become an integral part of our materials team gaining valuable hands-on experience.
• This role is responsible for assisting the wider team in providing an essential warehouse and supply chain function.
• Checking items received conform to instructions issued by approved Purchase Order.
• Checking items received are as ordered, the correct quantity, weight, and serviceability.
• Checking items received conform to packing requirements set out in company guidelines and standards.
• Ensure Safety Data Sheets and Dangerous Goods Paperwork accompanies the goods.
• Pack Cargo Carrying Units (CCU’s) IAW company standards.
• Unloading and Loading of HGV with forklift where required.
• Complete final Quality Assurance checks prior to CCU’s being shipped.
• Complete transport request for materials to reach vendor/other sites in the business.
• Good housekeeping skills required to keep yard/warehouse tidy and free of rubbish.
• SAP management of materials and annual stock check process.
• Assist Warehouse Coordinator in all duties required.
• Any additional duty deemed necessary by the Materials Team Leader.
