A digital agency in Leeds is looking for a Junior Visual Web Designer to join their UX & Design team. You will work closely with designers and researchers to create engaging visuals for various websites. Ideal candidates should have a relevant degree and experience in digital design. A hybrid working policy allows for flexibility in your schedule while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Who are IDHL?
At IDHL, we’re more than a digital agency, we’re a strategic partner to ambitious brands, helping them accelerate growth in the digital economy.
Our expertise is delivered through three core divisions: Performance, Web & eCommerce, and Intelligence – all working closely together to create impact across channels.
We’re also home to Fostr, a Shopify Plus agency for luxury and lifestyle brands, and The MTM Agency, specialists in integrated marketing and audience engagement.
What connects it all is our focus on outcomes, not just outputs. We back each other, take pride in what we do, and make sure the way we work works for everyone.
Hybrid working policy: employees are expected to work from the office twice a week.
Your role as Junior Visual Web Designer:
IDHL is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Junior Visual Designer Web with a passion for design and the ambition to grow within a fast-paced, supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the start of their career to learn, develop and build their skills within a close-knit UX & Design team.
You’ll be part of a team that uses UX research to uncover insights, deliver creative solutions through thoughtful visual design, and validate ideas through testing for our clients. Your main focus will be to work closely with our designers and UX researchers to turn ideas and research findings into clear, engaging visuals and interactive prototypes for a variety of websites, from e-commerce to content-driven platforms.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop your client-facing skills, deliver visual design tasks and help to communicate the value of great design. If you have an interest in UX research, that’s a big plus — but not essential. We’re happy to help you build up your UX skills as you grow in the role.
We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, a collaborative approach, and a willingness to learn and share ideas. You should feel comfortable presenting your work, taking feedback onboard, and contributing to client workshops with the support of the wider team.
