elasticStage Ltd is hiring a Junior Manufacturing Operator on a Tue-Sat early shift (7am–3pm) at our Elstree site. You will learn to operate production machinery, monitor quality, and support the end-to-end vinyl manufacturing process.

This hands-on role focuses on problem solving, attention to detail, and teamwork, with opportunities to gain qualifications and advance within a fast-growing music tech company.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) required.
• Genuine interest in manufacturing/production and willingness to learn on the job.
• Strong work ethic demonstrated in warehouse, retail, hospitality or similar roles.
• Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
• Basic problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Organisational skills with guided task management.
• Clear communication and teamwork in a busy environment.
• Ability to follow processes, work independently when required, and manage time to meet targets.
• Physical capability to be on your feet and perform manual tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on training to operate and maintain equipment in production.
• Quality assurance: inspect materials and products and adjust as needed.
• Troubleshoot operational issues to minimise downtime.
• Follow established manufacturing processes and keep accurate production records.
• Collaborate with the team to prioritise and fulfil orders.
• Assist in inventory management to keep the line running smoothly.
• Pursue relevant qualifications and certifications for career development.
