Responsibilities

PJT Partners’ Strategic Advisory UK team in London is seeking a Junior Vice President / Senior Associate with strong analytical and writing skills, who takes initiative, has great attention to detail, works well under pressure, and has the ability to perform both independently and within teams in a boutique investment advisory firm. The Advisory group is one of the most experienced investment banking teams in the industry, and has been involved in some of the largest, most complex transactions of the past twenty years. Our global team focuses on a diverse set of industries, including technology, media & telecommunications, energy, power & utilities, oil & gas, industrials, healthcare, and real estate, gaming & lodging.

Junior Vice Presidents / Senior Associates within the Advisory group work directly with companies in evaluating, structuring and recommending financial and strategic alternatives. They typically work on a wide variety of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, asset sales, restructurings and divestitures. They are staffed directly on client teams and are expected to be involved in all aspects of a transaction, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and the negotiating of contracts and other agreements. The comparatively small size of this group offers professionals the unique opportunity to gain client exposure and work closely with senior members of the team, many of whom were previously group heads at leading investment banking firms.
