The Portfolio Group is partnering with a fast-growing software business in Manchester to recruit a UX Designer for its flagship SaaS platform.

You'll work in a cross-functional team, shaping user experiences from research through wireframes to prototypes, while collaborating with product managers and engineers to deliver intuitive, accessible interfaces.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a UX or Product Design role.
• Strong proficiency with Figma.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes and user journeys.
• Understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for learning and developing as a UX Designer.

Responsibilities

• Design new features and enhance user journeys across web and mobile.
• Conduct user research to understand customer needs and behaviours.
• Produce wireframes, flows and interactive prototypes using Figma.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers and stakeholders.
• Support usability testing and UAT.
• Present design concepts and communicate ideas clearly.
• Stay up to date with UX trends and accessibility best practices.

Are you a creative UX Designer looking to take the next step in your career? We're partnered with an exciting and rapidly growing software business that's expanding its product team and looking for a passionate UX Designer to help shape the future of its flagship SaaS platform. Working within a collaborative cross-functional team, you'll have the opportunity to design engaging user experiences across web and mobile applications while learning from experienced product and engineering professionals.

Responsibilities

• Design new features and enhance existing user journeys across web and mobile platforms
• Conduct user research to understand customer needs and behaviours
• Produce wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes using Figma
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers and stakeholders throughout the design process
• Support usability testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Present design concepts and confidently communicate your ideas
• Keep up to date with UX trends, accessibility standards and best practice

Qualifications

• Around 2+ years\' experience in a UX or Product Design role
• Strong proficiency with Figma
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes and user journeys
• Understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles
• Appreciation of accessibility and inclusive design
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A genuine passion for learning and developing as a UX Designer
