Job summary

A maritime technology company in South Devon is seeking a Junior USV Operator to support marine missions with crewed and autonomous vessels. You will be responsible for vessel launch and recovery, operation of Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs), and ensuring that vessels are mission-ready. Qualified candidates will possess knowledge of small vessel operations, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to operate marine radios. Flexibility in travel and hours is required for this outdoor role.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of small vessel operations and seamanship.
• Experience working on small boats or RHIBs.
• Understanding of marine safety procedures and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Carry out launch and recovery operations for vessels.
• Operate and monitor Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs) according to procedures.
• Conduct refueling operations for vessels and support craft.
