cer Financial is working alongside a bank based in the City of London. They are seeking a Junior Treasury Trader.

Responsibilities of a Junior Treasury Trader:

1. Gain understanding in all aspects of Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange Markets.
2. Assist in management of daily cash balances and communicate regularly with direct clients.
3. Help manage liquidity position and monitor compliance with in-house limits.
4. Assist in attracting new customers.
5. Communicate with Global Treasury to maintain effective pricing and exchange local market interests and levels.
6. Assist in management of foreign exchange portfolio with accurate pricing, position keeping, and hedging.
7. Assist in managing positions within the risk profile of the bank.
8. Assist in onboarding new customers by obtaining full KYC information.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Keen interest in financial markets
• Good understanding of position keeping and liquidity management
• A Levels
• ACI / CISI Capital Markets Programme or other FCA relevant qualifications
• At least 5 years of financial business experience
