Role: Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer (Oxfordshire, UK, On-site)

Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Trainee Traffic Maintenance Engineer will collaborate with experienced Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and test Traffic Signals, Traffic Lights, and related electrical equipment in Oxfordshire. Due to growth, we are expanding our Traffic team in this region.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior Traffic Engineers to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain traffic-related electrical equipment.
• Participate in on-the-job training aimed at earning an NVQ in Electrical Installations and sector-specific certifications such as ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.

Candidate Profile:

• Interest in electrical troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance, with some exposure to outdoor lighting, CCTV, controllers, detection boxes, or telecommunications/radio equipment.
• Possession of an electrical course/diploma or relevant experience.
• Motivated to learn and develop skills both on-site and online.
• Full UK Driving Licence and residence in Oxfordshire.
• Willing to undertake a Drugs & Alcohol test for compliance.
