About the Company

The Trading team is responsible for pricing and trading various sports and events. It consists of approximately 80 traders reporting to a Head of Function/Head of Sport, with overall leadership provided by the Head of Trading Operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Trader, the Junior Trader will focus on 'in-play trading' and 'market monitoring', covering all stages of the market lifecycle. The role includes quality assurance at each stage to maximize revenues and minimize client contacts.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Trading across various sports and events, with an emphasis on high-volume trading
• Preparing trading models for in-play events by accurately entering pricing variables based on the underlying market
• Manipulating trading models/platforms and monitoring market conditions to ensure accurate pre-match outputs for both in-play and non-live events
• Ensuring precise entry of in-play match data
• Analyzing and recording trading performance for future reference and performance management
• Maintaining databases related to sports and competitions
• Understanding wholesale client requirements based on sport, jurisdiction, and market liquidity
• Reporting issues with models, pricing, or feeds to the Senior Trading team
• Communicating with Front Line Support and Risk departments to ensure efficient client service
• Gaining knowledge of all Sporting Solutions systems and processes to improve trading efficiency
• Completing all relevant internal and external training courses
