We are currently seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Junior to Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with expertise in groundworks to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency throughout the construction process.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct quantity surveying duties related to groundworks projects.
  2. Estimate and tender for projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  3. Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to management.
  4. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms.
  5. Assist in preparing project budgets and cost forecasts.
  6. Support the project team as required.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
  8. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in quantity surveying, focusing on groundworks.
  2. Knowledge of NEC contracts and relevant regulations.
  3. Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant surveying software.
  6. Full UK driving license.
