Job description

Job Title – Junior Ticketing Consultant

Department/Sector – Travel

Job Location – Essex

Salary – £19k

My client is recruiting a full-time Junior Ticketing Consultant who is required to create tailor-made flight and package itineraries.

You will be responsible for ensuring all airline tickets are issued in a timely manner.

Our client is looking for someone with travel industry experience over the last 2 years and who is able to work in a pressurised environment.

You must have at least one year’s CRS/GDS experience, and previous ticketing experience would be beneficial but not essential as training would be given.

Responsibilities:
  • Regular liaison with airline partners
  • Ensuring all airline tickets for bookings are issued in a timely manner
  • Keeping employees up to date on all issues
  • Creating tailor-made flight itineraries
Key Skills/Experience Needed:
  • Excellent written & oral communication
  • Previous knowledge of the travel/leisure industry

  • A starting salary of £19,000 per annum, rising to £20,000 upon successful completion of 6 month probation
