A leading renewable energy company is looking for a Junior Threat Intelligence Analyst in London. In this role, you will develop tools to monitor threats and analyze cyber alerts using Python and Azure technologies. M-KOPA's Threat Intelligence team, within the Security department, identifies and assesses threats against our products, business, and personnel. The team has developed a custom analysis platform instead of standard tools — Recorded Futures. By consuming multiple intelligence sources, we aim to provide real-time information to our Fraud, Application Security, and Management teams using Azure Microservices.

Your role involves acting as a developer, primarily using Python, with elements of Threat Hunting. This includes building automated tools to monitor the Internet and identifying emerging threats.

This is a fully remote role within the timezone UTC -1 / UTC+3, reporting to the Senior Threat Intelligence Researcher. You will work closely with the Application Security and Global Fraud teams to develop intelligence-gathering systems and disseminate findings effectively.

• You will coordinate across multiple stakeholder groups.
• You will monitor external data sources to stay updated on cyber threats and provide mitigation recommendations.
• You will review incoming intelligence reports and collection plans.
