CMS2 is seeking a motivated Junior Test and Commissioning Engineer to join our Test & Commissioning Department in Portsmouth. You will support testing, commissioning and validation of atmosphere control and air purification systems, progressing through a structured training programme to independently set up and test complex equipment.
As you develop, you will cover FATs, on-site testing, and documentation, while adhering to HSE standards and QA procedures.

Are you looking to build a career in engineering? CMS2 is seeking a motivated and technically minded Junior Test & Commissioning Engineer to join our team and develop into a competent Test & Commissioning Engineer through a structured training programme and hands-on practical experience.
As a Junior Test & Commissioning Engineer, you will support the testing, commissioning and validation of CMS2's specialist atmosphere control and air purification systems, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest quality standards and in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements and regulatory standards.
Working alongside Suitably Qualified and Experienced Persons (SQEPs), you will develop valuable electromechanical skills and gain exposure to a wide range of engineering disciplines and business functions. As your knowledge and experience grow, you will take on increasing levels of responsibility, applying your learning in a dynamic engineering environment.
Upon successful completion of your development programme, you will be capable of independently setting up, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting complex process equipment, conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), supporting customer installations, and providing technical expertise throughout the testing and commissioning lifecycle.
