Job summary

Fractile is seeking an ambitious Early Career System Architect to assist the Hardware organisation in shaping the next generation of AI inference hardware. You will work across chip interfaces, interconnects, and board-level design, contributing to system bring-up and testing as ideas become real hardware.

You’ll join a fast-moving environment with a strong foundation in digital systems and computer architecture, collaborating closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Degree or final-year study in Electronic/Computer Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Exposure to system-level design concepts (power, thermal, I/O, memory, interconnect) via projects or internships.
• Familiarity with digital design flows through coursework or projects.
• Comfortable working across hardware, firmware, and software disciplines.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical ideas clearly to others.
• Desirable exposure to AI acceleration or HPC architectures; hands-on FPGA prototyping or bring-up.

Responsibilities

• Support senior architects in defining and refining system architecture.
• Gain hands-on experience with early prototyping, bring-up, and system testing.
• Collaborate across hardware, firmware and software teams to translate architecture decisions into real hardware.
