Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking a Supply Chain Security Specialist to help manage third‑party supplier risks within the Information Security function. The role focuses on reducing risk to systems, data and client environments and offers hands‑on learning in third‑party risk management and cyber security.

The position starts with onsite presence in the Hampshire area, with potential for predominantly remote work and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Interest in cyber security or risk management.
• Awareness of risks related to cloud services, SaaS and third‑party suppliers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess new and existing third‑party suppliers by reviewing their security controls and risks.
• Support procurement, commercial and project teams to understand and manage supplier‑related cyber risks.
• Monitor supplier risk using tools such as Bitsight and produce clear, meaningful reports.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of supply chain security processes and policies.
• Identify opportunities to streamline ways of working and introduce automation.
• Support the response to supply chain‑related security incidents.
