Job summary

Habasit AG in Elland, United Kingdom, is seeking a Graduate Capacity / Production Planner to join our Operations team. This permanent, full-time role is ideal for a recent graduate aiming to build a career in production planning, manufacturing operations, and supply chain management.

You will support capacity planning and production scheduling in SAP, acting as a bridge between Customer Care and Fabrication teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and organisational ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar data tools.
• Interest in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain careers.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes including SAP.

Responsibilities

• Support daily production scheduling and capacity planning activities within SAP.
• Monitor work centre capacity and identify bottlenecks or under-utilisation.
• Review and prioritise production orders in line with customer requirements and available capacity.
• Maintain and update work centre master data and production routings within SAP.
• Participate in daily production meetings and support schedule adjustments in real time.
• Coordinate raw material availability and support production order release.
• Communicate order progress, schedule changes, and potential delays between Customer Care and Fabrication teams.
• Support stock monitoring and help resolve material shortages.

Habasit is looking to recruit a Graduate Capacity / Production Planner to join our Operations team in Elland. This permanent, full-time opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a career within production planning, manufacturing operations, and supply chain management.

Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, the successful candidate will support capacity planning and production scheduling activities using SAP, while acting as a key link between Customer Care and Fabrication teams.

The role offers structured on-the-job training, SAP coaching, and mentorship from experienced operational managers.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting daily production scheduling and capacity planning activities within SAP.
• Monitoring work centre capacity and identifying bottlenecks or under-utilisation.
• Reviewing and prioritising production orders in line with customer requirements and available capacity.
• Maintaining and updating work centre master data and production routings within SAP.
