Key responsibilities

  • Assisting the sous chef to oversee the kitchen operations.
  • Ensuring that food quality and presentation standards are met at all times.
  • Preparing and cooking food according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
  • Contributing ideas for new menu items and assisting in developing them based on seasonal ingredients, various dietary requirements, and customer preferences.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, as well as enforcing proper food handling procedures.
  • Being adaptable and able to handle various tasks as needed, especially during busy periods or unexpected situations.
