Wright Brothers Covent Garden is opening a new restaurant and seeks a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen from day one. You will work with exceptional seafood and seasonal produce, lead by example, and help build a high-performing team in a fast-paced setting.

You will support the Head Chef to deliver outstanding dishes, maintain top standards of food safety and kitchen discipline, and develop junior chefs while contributing to a collaborative working environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
• Genuine passion for cooking, seafood and quality ingredients.
• Confidence leading service and supporting a busy kitchen team.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of food costs, stock control and kitchen efficiency.
• Hands-on leadership style and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.

Aufgaben

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Lead sections and coordinate service, ensuring consistently high standards of cooking and presentation.
• Work with exceptional seafood and seasonal produce, treating every ingredient with care and precision.
• Coach and support junior chefs, sharing knowledge and leading by example.
• Maintain excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen organisation.
• Support stock control, portion management and waste reduction.
• Contribute ideas and help maintain a positive, collaborative kitchen environment.
