Gordon Ramsay Bread Street Kitchen & Bar in Bath is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen and help uphold the brand’s high standards. This part-time permanent role involves supporting the Head Chef, developing dishes, managing day-to-day operations, and mentoring junior chefs while ensuring excellent food hygiene.

You will contribute to menu creation, cost control, and presentation, while working in a fast-paced environment that values flair and consistent quality.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and high standards.
• Experience in acclaimed venues with strong service.
• Commercial awareness and cost control.
• Experience with stock takes, ordering and team management.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
• Understanding of hospitality and travel industries.
• Independent with minimal supervision.

• Hotels experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus.
• Assist with food purchases while controlling costs.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes within your speciality.
• Mentor and train junior chefs in the brigade.
• Maintain highest standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and safety.
